Mission Impossible?

My mission, whether I choose to accept it or not...to create 18 penquin costumes in under 2 weeks. If I were McGyver I could use nothing but a pine cone and chocolate syrup...but, alas, I am but a mere mortal. But wait, what is that russelling in the closet? Its a bird? Its a plane? Perhaps Dyson vacuum cleaner? Darn! NO NO ITS SUPER MOM! Within 3 days a prototype has been born. I am so cool, I can't stand it. No, really...no sewing either. I am a genius!!!! Aren't you glad you know me? I know I am. I think I should spread my superness to all those less fortunate than I. The downtroden, the hungry, the sleep deprived....where there is injustice, nutrient deficiency, unplanned menus, and yes, costumes to create....fear not for SUPER MOM is never far!!! Yours in eternal Superness.....

Its 4:30 p.m. where are my children?

It is 4:30 p.m., and I am blogging. The littlest humanoid is sound asleep in the beanbag chair complete with leather bomber jacket and light up sneakers (ooh sounds comfy). The eldest is out w/Papa in the barn fixing Mad Max (aka the backhoe). I chopped veges for dinner and decided to blog baby. Hightlight of the day...picking up Sam from J's and having him say, with arms wide open, "Mama I missed you!!!" not just once, but 3 or 4 times. Ahhh...tis good to be loved. Poor J...crying over her onions. Its all good.............................

And now a poetic moment(must be spoken in rapish rythm):

runnin' round all day
tis the stay at home mommy way
the lists get ever longer
is it 5pm? make mine stronger
say what?

Oooh..I have a beef...WHAT IS UP WITH COMPANIES HAVING THEIR FREAKIN' CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE IN INDIA! OR A COMPANY GIVING YOU A "HOTLINE" NUMBER TO CALL AND ITS FULLY AUTOMATED! THAT IS SO NOT HELPFUL....$%@%#%^&$^***&^$%%$##% that is what I have to say about that.
